These are very narrow make my toes hurt not comfortable at all.

Small side sizing but very comfortable

I’m usually a 6-6.5 and ordered a 7, good job because they just fit! Honestly the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever had and though they’re advertised as not waterproof, I didn’t get wet feet in the snow. I don’t think they’d stand up to puddles but then they’re not boots so water would go over the top of any shoes!

Sizing is a bit on the small side.

Good quality walking boots. I am a size 4 or 5 so I ordered a 5 because I often need a larger size for the extra width. These are a small size 5. They are just about wide enough for me though, luckily.

Bought 4 pairs

I have bought these for all my family.. they run about 1/2 size small but amazing value and extremely fit for purpose

Perfect fit. Warm in the cold and rain and keep your feet dry. The tread is good as well on ice and on the trails. Easy to keep clean.

Best for the price

Fantastic for the price , just bought 2nd pair

Looking good but small sizing

Nice looking shoes but you have to order size higher. I'm between 4 and 5. Ordered size 5 but they too small more like size 4.

Uncomfortable first wear

The first time I wore these shoes I got a horrible blister. The shoes were a bit stiff that’s probably why. They are getting better each time I wear them.

Quechua Arpenaz shoes

Excellent walking shoes. This is the third pair I have purchased of these. The first are black and pink and I wear them for work. I bought my son the men’s versio and he loves them. Suitable for light walking, if you are climbing Everest get something sturdier but a great light pair of shoes.

Grippy soles on natural footpaths

The sole’s design is the result of extensive research carried out in our labs. We favoured a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and resistance. As the requirements are not the same, we systematically look for the best compromise for walking on loose off-road terrain (like a forest path) as well as hard, stony trails (like a coastal path).

Designed for use on country trails

Our walking shoes are designed for use on off-road trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to walking on loose trails (e.g. unpaved forest paths) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). Road use (tarmac) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain walking.

Laboratory tested

Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: attachment of eyelets and webbing, assembly, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.

How to choose the size of my walking boots?

Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check two comfort points:- the heel seating- the front of the foot on a downward slopeAvoid any pressure points when fitting. Feel free to walk around the store. Gradually start using you shoes during your first few hiking trips to break them in.

The shoe/sock combination plays an important role

There are multiple factors which may cause blisters when you are walking: rubbing, a crease in the sock, moisture, a boot size that is too small or too big, etc. It is therefore important to choose the right size and to have socks made of the right material for your walking boots.

How to choose the size of my walking socks?

You need to choose the correct sock size for your feet to avoid any extra folds forming. These folds may form because the sock is too big and therefore there is too much material around your foot, or because the sock so small and is pulled towards the inside of your foot.

How to choose the fabric of my walking socks

Moisture must be effectively managed when walking: we perspire, it’s bound to happen. A breathable shoe will wick away the moisture caused by your perspiration. It is therefore necessary to choose a light and breathable sock as well.

Which socks are adapted to the nh100 boots?

These boots are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. We advise you to choose NH100 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankles from the boots. This is an excellent combination for minimising the likelihood of blisters.

Our hiking boots are guaranteed for 2 years. Our commitment? To offer you long-lasting products that you can use on all your country hikes and walks. Because the products that we love the most are those that have lived the most adventures and will continue to live them!
