Turbo Trainer Adapter for 10-12 mm Thru Axles

Does not fit for my canyon grail and tacx flow :(

I have read that my cycle, a B'Twin Ultra 500 AFGF, could not be connected to a Turbo Trainer due to the Through Axle, which secures the rear wheel to the Frame, guess what? it can, after some thorough serching on various cycling forum, i came to the conclusion that i would get this Trainer adapter and try it, as the cycle came from Decathlon the adapter should be the right one. My Trainer is an Elite Volare with an ajustable Magnetic resistance roller, nothing special about it. So i removed the Thru axle and after diciding which of the plastic collers to use, i swapped them over, then the Ultra was offered into the Trainer and secured, it works with out any problems, on the 14 rides i have done so far it has not let me down at all, i am using some old road tyres up first before using a proper Training tyre, as the Turbo wears out the tyres. I will be changing the Adapter over before i start riding back onto the local roads. This product is the ideal solution to turn your cycle onto a Turbo Trainer if you have a Thru Axles installed onto your steed, and wish to continue training in this winter period, and of uncertainty.

Hi! Im looking to make an adapter for an elite turbo muin with qr skewers but i will be using it on a thru axle bike. Basically I will need a long quick release axle and the frame will be sitting on 12mm end caps. Has anyone tried this. I know this ia possible seeing this guy on YouTube. https://youtu.be/WtmTrtcQCS4 Please let me jnow of anyone has an idea if this adapter will be useful for what I'm trying to achieve.

Fui directamente a la web de Elite para ver si valía para adaptar eje boost para un rodillo Elite Novo y efectivamente eso pone en le descripción del producto. Pues NO, ni enroscando el tornillo del rodillo a tope se puede meter el eje, quizás en una bicicleta rígida sin basculante cabría, pero no con una doble como mi Orbea Occam AM 2017 Conclusión, no por que tu eje sea boost puedes estar seguro al 100% que te sirva este adaptador, dependerá del ancho total del triángulo trasero.

Lo utilizo en un rodillo élite con mi bicicleta de carretera (Merida Scultura) y ajusta perfectamente. Es algo caro para ser plástico y metal, pero cumple su función.

El producto es perfecto para lo que es, pero no va bien con rodillos convencionales tacx, ya que tacx necesita que sea plano las puntas done acaba, al ser en forma de icono no sirve para esos modelos

J'ai acheté cet adaptateur en décembre 2019 après le passage à un vélo à disques avec axe traversant 12x142, pour pouvoir utiliser mon home trainer Elite. Après 51 heures d'utilisation et environ 25 démontages/remontages, le réducteur de diamètre pour le coté opposé au blocage rapide a cédé. La partie que l'on voit en noir coté écrou vissant s'est rompue en 2 parties : la rondelle d'appui d'un coté et le réducteur de diamètre du coté opposé. J'ai remonté les éléments comme si rien n'était cassé, mais je crains que le retrait pour le retour à la route ne soit compliqué : la partie cylindrique "réducteur de diamètre" restera dans le creux de l'axe de la roue. Malgré cela, je recommande le produit, car c'est le seul assure la fonction.

comme indiqué par un autre client ce kit ne permet pas d'utiliser un tacx neo. a réserver sans doute du coup aux HT Élite ou a une sélection très précise et à mentionner sur votre site d'autres marques
