Bought 2 of these bikes for myself and hubby. They’re great! Fold up and fit in the boot of the car with very little effort. We hadn’t ridden bikes for a couple of decades and have rediscovered the joy of cycling again. Our grandchildren are fascinated with the fact that the bikes fold up and are amazed that their grandparents can actually ride a bike and are thrilled that we can ride along side them - We’ve had great fun over the past few weeks and are looking forward to continuing to do so.
As the owner of a smart car a fold up bike was still going to be a challenge! This fits in my boot! Easy to set up sturdy enough to cycle the Downslink!! Highly recommend!!
Mainly used by my wife, although I use it occasionally as well. The single 6-speed rear derailleur gives some flexibility of gear ratio, although this can't quite climb steep hills (even on first) or zip along on flat ground on top gear. Also has a tendency to skip the last gear when ridden at speed (probably due to the short chain length/frame), limiting the range on flat ground. My wife is permanently scared of the chain coming off the last gear, so she only uses the bottom 5. Still, not bad for an urban commute. The longest journey my wife has managed on this is 30km, and it's comfortable but slow. Have recommended it to my friends as well, who are eager to buy it after they've tried mine, but this model seems to be facing availability issues at the moment.
I purchased this bike to replace a mountain bike which was stolen that was more then double the price of this bike and it is amazing to ride. This is a great bit of kit and very good quality for the money. The staff at Decathlon Chingford branch were more then helpful and I will definitely be returning when I need some more accessories for my new pride and joy.
I bought this bike about 3 weeks ago. I am really happy i got it. Everything works very well. Seat is good. Obviously it's not really, really fast becouse of the size of the wheels but i truely enjoye ridding this bike. Really good price. I am sincerely recommend Marta xx
There are no words to say how happy this bike made me. Super easy to ride and great to fold and bring home. I recommend it to anyone who wants a great bike for the city
I löst it and i found it back.i Checked the reference no on my Bill and in the bike it was total same...they said all the reference no of this bike are same.i begged the Police that this is my fiets but they didnt help me and helpen the thief..is it true that all the reference no are same..0466190187 if you can help me please help me
I haven't ridden a bike for a number of years and with the trains a busses getting busy recently I thought ridding a bike might be a good idea. This ticks every box for me! I have read other people reviews and see about parts going wrong or breaking but I haven't got a fault on mine, so I might be counting myself lucky but either way for the price you pay what would you expect. It's rides great and has everything to get you on the move. Be it I've only had mine 2 weeks, there are some small scratches appearing on the folding mechanisms but I had thought this would happen did to wear and tear. Be advised that it is a little heavy but you can wheel it around using the seat post extended. If you buying on a budget then look no further because this really is a steal for the price! I also bought a helmet which again for the price I can't complain! Very comfy!
Love the bike, used it to commute across London today and survived BUT the ball and socket joint that hold frame together is either faulty or just useless - as soon as I close it it swings back open - such a shame as it make it difficult for trains and office
I bought this bike during lockdown so when I went back to work i could avoid the tubes around london. Bike is very sturdy, a little on the heavy side and not as compact as the Brompton but for the price you pay its excellent. Very easy to fold and unfold so no issues there. Saddle is very comfortable and with 20inch wheels its a joy to ride. Only thing id say is check your brakes before doing a proper cycle as mine needed tightening but that is very minor. I would recommend to anyone who is in the folding bike market, a joy to ride.
My wife and I bought two of these to use for days out instead of trying to transport our 'normal' bikes as one of our bikes is electric so we would have to go to the huge expense of tow bar and bike racks etc. With these we can throw them both in the car and off we go. Only been on one ride so far to the beach and what a blast.... they are great fun and take me back to being a kid again. I am a keen cyclist for over 30+ years and I have a Canyon road bike and a mountain bike and my wife has an electric bike so we are not new to bikes but we are new to folding bikes and what fun these little bikes are. These Tilt 120 are really smart and seem well made. The colour on the website does not do them justice as they are a lovely shade of red a kind of matt red similar in fact to my expensive Canyon road bike. The folding is easy once you get the hang of it and the inclusion of full mudguards including the little rubber end bits is and lights front and back and bell is brilliant. These bikes are easy to pedal and I assume because of the 20" wheels and big front chain-ring are actually good on hills with my wife managing to climb some decent hills no problem. Something she would normally need her electric bike for. On the whole VERY happy with out little bikes and cannot wait to get out on them again as they are a JOY to use
I recently bought this bike to learn how to commute to work as in cycling after ages and I must say it’s really good value for money. Initially I found it difficult to fold but after a few tries it’s very easy. It is a bit heavy as I’m 5’2 and I need to lug it up two flights to my flat but it’s easier than a regular bike and so convenient. My only issue is that the back light isn’t coming on and I do t know how to change the battery, hopefully someone can help. Love the bike. Thank you Decathlon!
I wrote a review on this bike just after I bought it, so this is an up-date. I use the bike and train 5 days a week to commute. This bike is great, I haven't had it serviced yet, i will soon, but nothing has gone wrong with it since I bought it, none of the cables have stretched the gears changes are still good. I find this bike totally reliable and the quality is superb, especially given the price, it really is a joy to ride and so responsive. I would thoroughly recommend this bike to anyone, you won't get a better built, more reliable and fun to ride bike at this price !
I buy this bike 1 month in lockdown and I was using this bike everyday it was so good everyday I take the bike with me to work it’s make me so comfortable to ride the bike and in 5 second it will fold so nice bike and the customer service give service so good really nice work for them thx so much in further I will always shop with decathlon thx
I had a Brompton but sold it as I wasn't using it enough - I have subsequently bought the Tilt 120 and have to say, 1st impressions are that it is a really good bike. Crucially, it is heavier than a Brompton and it is not as compact when folded, but I find it more comfortable and useable than the Brompton. It might be prone to unfolding when carrying and so I have bought a heavy duty carry bag from a well known rain forest website. For the money, this bike is excellent.
