Better than expected for the price point

I was a little apprehensive after reading a few reviews regarding sizing but they fit perfectly, so guessing that other shoppers are not checking the sizing guide and ordering waist instead of hip sizes. Overall quality appears to be good and the only downside is that the seat padding is not quite as thick and supportive as other products i've purchased from Decathlon, but for this price they are much better than I was expecting and I will be purchasing another couple of pairs as soon as they are back in stock. .

Sizes are so inaccurate it's a joke.

Ordered a medium as they allegedly fit a 39 inch waist. Couldn't get them past my knees so returned for an XL. Still too small. I can wear them but can't get onto my bike in them as they are so tight. I think you really need to work with your suppliers to get more accurate sizes. Really annoyed at the hassle. Avoid!

Watch Sizing Guide - HIPS not WAIST

Make sure when you look at the sizing guide you measure your HIPS and not WAIST. No idea why as this is the first time in 35 years I've ever seen men's shorts/trousers measured in hips and not waist! Needless to say I ordered the wrong size!

Poor Sizing but great price

Normally wear XL size. I have an old BTWin pair which look identical and fit really well. Bought XL but was very tight across crotch and rear but fine on legs and waist. Exchanged for XXL and they are feel too big in all areas, seems like a really big jump in sizes. It is a great price for padded baggy shorts and would still recommend for this but major issue with sizing.

Wayyyyy too small!

Recently lost lots of weight cycling, so ordered XL, which supposed were upto 4" too big, but couldn't even get them past my thighs. These are definitely not the right sizes in the size chart!!

excellent padding, and really nice fit. a very good buy, excellent value for money.

I’ve started using my bike more at the moment as something to do so thought I’d invest in some shorts for the padding more than anything. I went on and checked the sizes and it said I needed a Large pair, which is what I ordered. However, when they arrived they are way too small! There’s not extra give to the waist band and they’re far too small to even pass my knees properly. Other than size they seem to be really good material feels strong and durable, under shorts feel good and the padding is decently thick. I’d recommend but you need to order a size or two larger I’d suggest! Shame really especially as the larger sizes are currently out of stock and there’s a pandemic so god knows when they’ll be back in.

Good but not quite awesome

Needs a little more support towards the back

THE SIZES ARE MILES OUT! I looked at the sizing which said 36" waist would be a medium - I was surprised as usually I'm an XL - shorts arrived and it says on the label even states 93-98cm (37-39inches) - are you having a laugh? A child would struggle to get these on - how have you got your sizing so so so wrong? Are you going to refund my postage? I made every effort to select the correct size - but your information is miles off!

Thank you for your feedback regarding these shorts.
For some reason, the online size guide uses the hips and not the waist for it's measurements.
If you this is not clear enough (and I don't think it is), please don't hesitate to return them to us.

Mountain Bike Shorts

I use these whilst riding my road bike. I find them comfortable and not as restricting as my normal cycling shorts.

Great shorts.

These are great shorts so good I’m going to buy a second pair. The only reason l didn’t give 5 stars is the sizing isn’t generous or I’m fatter than I think

Quality is fine but sizing is all over the place!

These are reasonable shorts. I'm usually a L or XL and settled on L, but the cut of the legs of the outer short is so wide that I could fit another couple of legs in there! Comfy? Yes. Padding?: Does the job for my 1hr commute (gel would be nice, but that would cost more , I guess) Cut: Inner short is fine. Outer short is a bit like clown trousers. Washing: Seems fine after a couple of washes. I would recommend them tentatively, but probably wouldn't buy again myself because of the cut.

Valve for money

Great value, comfortable fit.

I bought these for summer riding. I ride my hybrid bike for exercise 3 times a week but I do not want to wear tight Lycra cycling shorts. These are loose fitting and very comfortable. The inner shorts are a nice snug fit but are stretchy. The outer material is not stretchy but are loose so no need. The padding is relatively thin but more than enough for riding for a couple of hours at a time. Overall, these are excellent value for money.
