Brilliant. Great product
I have never used cleats before and was recommended SPD cleats and pedals as being easy to use and and walk with. Found them to meet both needs at a great price.
These were my first venture into clipless pedals. I was a little concerned initially that the left pedal did not spin as freely as the right, kind of a grinding noise. Took them out for a spin and have taken to them really well, I think they suit someone who, like myself, is wanting to transition to clipless, they are not too expensive and work well but I can see me changing up to Shimano in the next 12 months.
These are good value for money and we're bought for a spare commuting bike. They do the job well.
I've had 3 sets of these pedals. In each set the right hand pedal's bearing has failed within 10k miles. They are very difficult overhaul because the end cap is difficult to remove and the bearings are tiny. They work fine with the supplied shoe cleats but seem to be slightly different from shimano spd so don't work very well with original shimano cleats.
First set of SPD pedals I have had they work well and seem to do the job great to be double sided
very Hard. My wife and I would normally wear look cleats for racing bike but we needed to get SPD cleats for a holiday trip... It took many attempts to get them on, they are very hard to cleat on even after adjusting them to the loosest position
I was given these by someone who did not like them. I sprayed oil onto the springs as I do with my Shimano. They work well even if these springs are a little bit stronger. The bearings are extremely smooth. It's like having an extra gear. I don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.
Sadly these clips aren't worth bothering with, I bought them for my hybrid hoping they'd be good for the canal path and roads however they're near impossible to clip into even with the tension off. I also bought a pair of Shimano for another bike and they're awesome in comparison. Real shame! I'll be buying the others for my hybrid too.
Thank you for sharing your review of these pedals with us. I also encountered the same issue as you. I found them to be very stiff but I lubed the springs and with in a few clips they worked as I would have expected and I now use them every day on my commuting bike. I fully appreciate your frustration and they should work smoothly straight out of the box. I will feedback your comments to the product manager in charge of these pedals.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago as they're cheap, and while the left one worked fine, the right one refused to clip in even after I'd released all the tension, via the bolts, using a hex key. I then thought I'd try carefully screwing the bolts back to maximum tension and then back to minimum tension to see if that loosened things up, but all that did was strip the bolt heads as the steel they're made of is too soft to withstand much adjustment, and it seemed to take a lot of force to turn the bolts. So now the right pedal is unusable and, all in all, it wasn't a very happy experience. My advice is to spend a bit more or, if you do get these, don't mess around trying to adjust them. Anyway, bin.
I'm sorry to read that one of the pedals could not be adjusted correctly. Please feel free to return them to us for a refund or an exchange.

As expected
3rd set I've purchased from Decathlon over 5 years. 1/2 price of other branded equivalents and excellent durability and performance
The pedals look good and sturdy but after 3 days of use, the pedals started to produce an annoying sound from the rubber part (and the sound is still going after 400km). For the price, you can buy a SHIMANO pair of better quality.
Used it less than a week. Feels good.
Hi Ryan! Thanks so much for taking a moment to leave us a review! 💙

Clipping takes too much time to clip in and clip out done some trials still same Returned the product because of the clipping issue
Hi Sagar,
Thank you for taking the time to review the spd pedals.
The spd clipless pedals do not ease out over time. It is designed to hold the tension you set and this is a preference that changes rider by rider.
We can set the tension which defines the ease at which you can dismount and it is indicated by + and - symbols on the pedals. Do try the pedals again if you think you want to play around with the tension and you could ask our sport leaders to explain the process on the shop floor.
Clipless pedals really bring in a lot of efficiency for your strokes.
You could reach out to me as well if you need help and I will be able to help you virtually.
Feel free to reach out.
