Product Reviews

I bought these for my MTB as I wanted to use it for commuting. They roll really well and aren't too heavy, but have had a lot of punctures so will have to look for an alternative.
Well, changing both tyres to these I certainly noticed it was easier going but … I do not rate their puncture resistance at all. Four (or is it five - I’ve lost count) punctures in two months (one in the front the rest on the rear, and before you ask, I’m 12 stone!). I know what Victor Meldrew would say (and Jim Royle “puncture my ****) (and many more…)
If you are not happy with them, please return them to us with your receipt for a refund/exchange

As I commute everyday I changed my MTB tyres into this Vittoria 1.5 tyres. You can feel great difference and cycle faster with less effort. The main drawback is setting the tyre. Adjusting it properly is difficult and it takes time and patience.
It is just 6 months used now. The quality of the tyre is not upto the mark. The tyre got punctured two times so far. I can see now a 1/4 inch hole in the tyre and the tube is bulging out. At any time, this will get punctured. Also, I can see minoe cracks appearing in some places. Hope this will grow big soon. I won't recommend this brand.
Punctures are sometimes hard to diagnose therefore could you reply to me with the circumstances which caused the punctures as well as the item which caused a slit in your tyre. I look forward to hear from you.
It is worth noting that cuts can occur to slick tyres from metal objects or glass on the road which often accumulate on the side where riders cycles.

These are a good tyre if you mainly use a mountain bike on-road. As a cycle trainer this is the set-up I use and these tyres are ideal.
I have been very impressed by the performance of these tyres. The puncture protection is good and they roll much easier than a typical MTB tyre. In dry conditions the grip is superb and they give a very reassuring feeling when leaning over on tarmac. The compound is hard which gives long life, however on wet tarmac you need to be cautious (especially over metal grates) as they can be skittish. Although I have used these tyres in winter conditions, I would recommend a switch to something with a more aggressive tread profile. They can be used on trails, but are very slippery on mud and leaves etc. Of course, these tyres were not designed for conditions such as this so I can't be critical.
I bought 2 of these 2 years ago to use on my mountain bike to turn it into a sort of road bike. I then cycled from Lands End to John O`Groats through horrendous weather and was the only person in the group not to get a single puncture. They still look brand new. Absolutely fantastic tyres.

Muy cómodas y resistentes.
Super

How to measure tyre wear
To measure the wear on your city bike's tyres and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread.Usual signs of wear include:- tread starting to fray- the appearance of a series of micro cracks- low tread depth- the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tyre is worn and needs replacing.
How to remove a tyre
To remove your tyre, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out.Once deflated, use a tyre lever to remove the tyre from the rim.
How to fit a tyre
To put the tyre back on, place one side of the tyre into the bottom of the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tyre (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then, insert the other side of the tyre into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tyre and the rim.
How to inflate your tyre correctly
Inflate your tyre carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the side of your tyre. Also, before each outing, make sure that your tyres are at the correct pressure for your ride.
Tip from the pros
When inflating your tyre, make sure you inflate it to the suitable pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and, above all, the weather conditions you will be riding in.When riding in rainy weather, lower the tyre pressure to increase the tyre's traction. On the other hand, when riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
