Good price for quality goods
Never thought I would ever need one, but totally love it
high quality, well constructed and easy to use. the weight, adjustment and grip are ideal for hiking. well worth the money.
They do their job and they do it well, especially for the price.
Another quality product at a great price, easy to adjust and looks good Already used several times and did the job well will probably buy another.
Ideal for climbing down hills.
Two poles I bought collapsed on the very first descent of the first hike I used them on. The locks on both were not tight enough, never had this issue using similar closing mechanism in my other poles. my weight is 90kg so maybe for someone smaller these poles will be enough. The quality and materials are good, but they don't do the job they were designed to do and I ended up with sore knees, so would not recommend.
Hi, thanks for taking the time review our Mh500 Mountain Walking Pole.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a problem with these poles collapsing under pressure. I just want to check one thing, there is a mechanism to make the locking system tighter, I'm not sure if you are aware. Perhaps if you made this tighter, then the poles would be more secure and this might hopefully solve your problem. I hope that this helps!
Thanks again for your time.

Quick and easy to extend /retract.
The price is for 1 pole, but in the picture it looks like several. Ridiculously overpriced. False advertising
What a difference these poles make! Great quality and easy to adjust.
Bought these recently and they arrived on a day when I was just going out in the snow. Very sturdy support and easy to pack away/extend out. Very pleased.
A well made very useful piece of kit.Good value.
Great recommendation from a member of staff. They are sturdy and feel strong.
I bought one just as a trial, mainly for testing ground if uncertain whether I’d sink or not, but ended up walking with it, felt weird walking with one so have since bought another to try using them for walking properly
bought to replace an old one. Glad I did. I got the rubber bungs too for the tip. I like that parts are interchangeable.

This model is entirely designed and approved by our team, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The starting point of our design is the external locking mechanism for precise and fast adjustment. Combined with a push-pin that unfolds and folds automatically. Then we designed a handle that allows multiple grips: along the tube for climbs and banking terrain, with the wrist-strap for efficient pushing and on the knob for descents. Then we use our best 7075-T6 aluminium for controlled weight
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To do this:-pull the bottom strand all the way out until the auto push-pin (metal button) locks- open the lever of the external blocker- slide the tube to the desired length- close the leverNever exceed the STOP line to avoid the risk of breaking the pole.
This hiking pole is designed to help you balance, propel yourself and distribute effort between arms and legs.To be on the safe side, check before you set off and at regular intervals that your baton is locked in place by simulating heavy bumps. If you notice that your pole tends to slide down, the locking mechanism turn ring needs adjusting. Open the lever and turn the knob a quarter to a half turn.Do not put on your backpack in case of a storm.
Proper maintenance of your baton will ensure that it functions optimally and that it lasts longer. After use, if water has penetrated the stick, remove the strands and allow to dry. If necessary, clean the dust or mud with water or a dry brush. Once dry, you can reassemble the strands. We recommend that you do not attempt to oil or grease the mechanisms.
At Decathlon, we have decided to sell our hiking/trekking poles individually. First because of how they are used. Indeed, some people only want to use one pole. Also, if one of your poles breaks, this means you only have to buy one and not a complete pair.
The advantage of buying Forclaz trekking poles is that you have a wide choice of compatible accessories and spare parts. So you can enjoy it for as long as possible.Hiking pole caps: ref. 8580865Summer baskets: ref. 8503854Winter baskets: ref. 8503857Replacement tip: ref. 8577675Replacement ring: ref. 8642201Replacement stopper: ref. 8642202Lower section MT500: ref. 8642205
