Long lasting. Very comfortable and have good quality.
Comfortable, Dry, and well made. Love the colour as well. These boots are excellent value Would definitely recommend.
Really comfortable boots and excellent value. Used these for a short walk 3 miles in the rain and really pleased they kept my feet nice and dry. Love the colour as well. So happy I choose these over more expensive options.
These are really light and comfortable Boots. I had a pair of Salomons which were 20 Years old that i binned as tatty looking But these are not as durable as them Also i have found them waterproof and warm The only negative is that i dont feel Them all that grippy in comparison to My old Salomons ,that is the only gripe i have with Them ,otherwise good value boots and i would Recommend them ,bye for now
Adequate walking boots for occasional use. Not breathable or water resistant. Used a couple of times for Duke of Edinburgh award, make it a couple more days use out of them.
Very comfortable shoes and great for walking, but they are not waterproof. Water resistant would be the most I could say; even after adding my own waterproofing, I get wet toes if I walk in rain or wet grass. And now, after 7 months of average 15 miles a week, the inner lining has torn at the toe (and, as a walker, I keep my toenails short so it's not that!). Ok for a cheap pair of boots for occasional walks but I think I'll need to invest in higher quality boots.
Good grip and comfortable. My son has wide feet and husband Med-wide fit and both have the same boots. Highly recommended and a good price.
A descent bit of kit don't know how waterproof they are as not tested in the wet yet. But they are warm and comfortable don't rub a good fit so happy with the purchase I shop at decathlon because its a great shop for gear and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket
Had these for six months and initially they were great being comfortable and waterproof in all terrains. Now although still very comfortable they are no longer waterproof to the extant of even walking on mildly damp grass your feet get soaked. I have tried Decathlon's waterproofing spray to see if that would help but no joy. Thankfully boots are guaranteed and I will be sending them back for a repacement pair.
Would have been easier and quicker to have gone to a shop. Never mind. Live and learn never to use online at decathlon again
Comfy and nice
Was recomended these type of boots and they did exactly what I had been told, straight out the box to walking with no issues or soreness at all. If you need a pair of boots at short notice these are definitely worth a look
I thought they might look huge on a woman, but not at all. Honestly didn't expect them to be so good for the price - genuinely very comfortable. I have used them while it was raining and walked thought puddles and no water got in. They're very warm and my first choice for the winter (which means they're too hot for the warmer days...but hey...can't have everything). Super product

We have classified our products in terms of performance and features for 3 levels of Mountain Walking:- occasional: about 10 hikes per year of about 3 to 4 hours in length, covering less than 10km and less than 700m in elevation gain.- Regular: about 20 outings per year. 4 to 6 hours, 10 to 20 km, 700 to 1200m of elevation gain per outing.- Intensive: more than 20 times a year. More than 6 hours, more than 20 km, 1200 to 2000m of elevation gain per outing.
For the fabric on the cuff lining and on the inner sole coating of these boots, we dye the thread during manufacturing to reduce the environmental impact. Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.
The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded certification, the boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip rate on different surfaces (Smooth, Rugged, Dry, Wet). To validate these tests, we assess the quality of our soles in the field, the mountains, by a panel of representative testers over 500 km.
In a laboratory, the boot is immersed in water to mid-height on a mechanical arm that flexes to simulates a number of steps. With this test we can determine a time and number of km that the boot can walk while staying dry. Then we confirm in the field or under the rain, that the shoe meets its promises.
To keep your feet dry, we advise you to use a waterproof gaiter or mini-gaiter to protect the top of your boots and prevent water, pebbles and sand from getting in.We advise re-waterproofing your boots twice a year using a re-waterproofing agent (search for ‘waterproofing’ on our Decathlon website) which will help you restore the original water-repellent qualities and help prevent stains on the outside.
The most important thing is to try on several sizes and styles of boots to find the one most suited to you!You can take a size above your usual one to prevent the toes from bumping into the toe box when going downhill, provided the foot is properly supported to avoid friction.Tip: keep your toenails short and, before a long descent, check that your lacing is tight enough to prevent your foot from sliding forwards inside the boot.
Some Decathlon stores have a test route.1. Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. 2. Tighten the laces, taking care to correctly balance the tightening.3. Check two points:- the heel does not come up before the boot when you walk uphill.- the foot does not slide and the toes do not press against the front when going downhill.4. Try on several sizes and models.Break them in gradually to adapt them to your foot.
A waterproof shoe will be less breathable than a non-waterproof shoe. Socks like the MH500, MH520 and MH900 with a high or medium upper (adapted to the height of the boot) are therefore preferable for wicking away perspiration and reducing friction.
The original insole in your boots is designed to accommodate most feet. A change of insole can bring:1. Improved support: some soles are preformed or reinforced to better support the arch of the foot. 2. More comfort: the insoles can also provide heat and/or cushioning.3. Longer life: restore the support and comfort of your shoes by replacing the insole each season.
- Leave to air dry.- Remove dry mud with a stiff brush.- Clean marks using a brush and some warm water- Leave to dry- Spray with a re-waterproofing product to restore the water-resistance to the upper.
