I bought these boots over 2 years ago and was very pleased with them, especially for the cost. However, after 14 months the sole separated from the upper. As the boots are guaranteed for 2 years I returned them to my local store where they were replaced without question, again the replacement boots were especially comfortable but again the sole is starting to come away from the upper rendering the boots useless. On both pairs the fault is in exactly the same place so I am now doubtful if I will replace with the same boots invade there is a latent problem which is unfortunate as up till now they have been good boots.
Very good for first time walkers, very comfortable!
Good so far – as only had a few weeks, and replacing some Karimor's that only lasted three months (eyelets and lace 'hook' broke off). I use them for day-to-day use and shorter walks on muddy paths/trails. For 'serious' walking, i.e. 8 miles plus, I defer to my proper Scarpa walking boots. So hoping these last a couple of years as previous Quechua trail boots have.

These are very comfortable boots but the laces are poor and keep coming undone. Replaced with flat laces and perfect. Great value. I use them for leisure hiking in the uk and snow shoe-ing in the Alps.
Bought to cope with a trek across water logged fields and um 'muddy' farm yard. Coped exceptionally well.

Great fit and comfy
I was wearing suit socks when I tried these on in-store and the fit was fine. However when I got home and put on a pair of Quecha socks (not at all thick) the left foot (the bigger foot) is tight, and not more than a little bit so. I will have to travel back to the store on Saturday and try on a size bigger (wearing my walking socks as I do so)! I am otherwise happy with the sole comfort and build quality. I just need them for a bit of light hiking on my holidays but a fit my left foot is happy with will be required.
Does as it says in the title, most waterproof boots from other store don't stay waterproof, these have, comfy and look quite good
These are without a doubt the best waterproof walking boots I have ever purchased. Had a pair of top brand boots before this that were literally 3 times the price and were supposed to be waterproof (they weren't) and fell apart after 6 months. I live in a sometimes very boggy area of Somerset with a dog, so walking across fields daily in the winter is unavoidable. After walking the dog out in boggy fields my socks always remain dry. I have had the boots for over a year I think, and they are not in anyway falling apart at the seams. I have walked quite a bit of the South West Coastal Path in these and they are comfortable and again, waterproof. I know I can always rely on them. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be buying them or similar next time I need a pair of boots. But I don't know when that will be as these are so good.
Really disappointed, ending up returning these boots after my recent trip to Devon. I walked through damp short grass near Silverton in Devon, and after 20 minutes the boots started letting the water through. I had very cold soaked feet. And it wasn’t even raining!! The boots are also very heavy, my knees were aching after short distance strolls.
We'll made, comfortable and great value. First real walk in these was up to Yes Tor on a cold, wet day. The boots were really comfortable and kept my feet warm and dry.
Unfortunately I can't recommend these boots. They ripped my feet apart for the first few walks until they were broken in. After that, they were OK through the summer but started to leak in the autumn. Not just through the mesh upper but between the sole and upper. My feet are soaked through by the time I'm back from walking the dog in wet conditions. I've only had them for 8 months but they are now in the bin and replaced with a better pair.
Pinched toes so I returned product to your Milton Keynes store but have bought another different pair—-Blue Chechua size 46

I purchased these boots to walk in the Lake District .They didn't need breaking in as they were very comfortable and supple from first wear. A six hour hill walk up the Old Man of Conniston proved to be no problem.Very light boot which is a bonus. I splashed through puddles with no problem at all. I'm very pleased with these boots for the price.
Price is good, quality is good!!! Love it.

The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded this certification, the shoes must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip rate on different surfaces (Smooth, Rugged, Dry, Wet). To validate these tests, we assess the quality of our soles in the field, the mountains, by a panel of representative testers over 500 km
Waterproofing test
In a laboratory, the shoe is immersed in water to mid height on a mechanical arm that simulates a number of steps. Thanks to this test, we can determine a number of km (X steps) that the shoe can make while remaining dry. Then we confirm in real conditions in the field and in the rain, that the shoe keeps its promises.
Making waterproofing last longer
The waterproofing of a shoe is often compromised because water gets in at the collar of the shoe. To keep your feet dry for longer, it is therefore advisable to use a waterproof gaiter or mini-gaiter that will prevent not only water from getting inside through the top, but also pebbles, sand, etc. It is advisable to use a waterproof spray several times a year. This restores the original water-repellent properties and prevents staining.

Which size should you choose ?
For hiking, feel free to choose one size above your usual size to ensure optimal comfort when going downhill and prevent your toes from hitting the front of the shoe. Advice: keep your toenails short and, before descending, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding forwards inside the shoe.
