This is the best by far all round backpack out there, it's a really competitive price high quality materials. The strap adjustable system is unquestionably one of the best out there.. This product has made me question myself, I've ignored Decathlon own brand name product for a while.. But no more, I'm a massive fan now..
Managed to fit all my gear for a 3 night hike as well as my gm1000 gold detector. Very comfortable with lots of access points to different parts of the pack

Better than I expected . Amazingly well balanced. You can't feel the rucksack , that much evenly poised it is . Recommended for all.
Good
Bag is very good except the absence of tightening straps. The front zipper is a big concern. Would have been nice if there where some kind of straps around the front and bottom zipper for more strength and integrity
This backpack comes with a horizontal zip in the front side for easy convenience of packing or unpacking. The Easyfit feature is excellent & serves the purpose. Helps carry the bag with great fit & comfortability. Bag have additional compartments on the sides - one with a long horizontal zipper for carrying maps or documents or any that can fit and On the other side a big water bottle pouch. Additionally there is a special compartment on the bottom separated for carrying sleeping bags or tents. And two special tie ropes are present to carry sleeping mats & hiking sticks. The water bottle holder on the bottom is an additional feature. A rain cover comes with the package in the head part in a secret compartment. The Head comes with a zipper compartment for ready to take items. "Set of 2 tightening straps (25mm x 1m) for trekking backpacks" used to carry Mats at the bottom does not come along with this bag. There are 2 sets of straps that holds the bag to our body, one at the chest area & the other one at waist, which have an additional pocket for phones , wallets or cards. Overall, I feel this is the best purchase I made for a hiking bag and 70L feels good enough for a long trip who like to carry light. The provided 10 years warranty backs the price, so go for it friends.
The built quality is amazing! The easy fit system is so good that you no longer have to think about your height and the size of the bag(it's easily adjustable for any height). The bag has a lot of compartments and it's very useful. It's value for money.

Easyfit system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the back height and strap tension simultaneously by pulling on one single strap (on each side). 1. Put on your bag2. Buckle and tighten the belt3. Pull the handles (from bottom to top)It’s adjusted!
Capacity
70 L volume. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method. we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few %.
Dying process
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we have opted for mass pigmentation called "dope dye" integrating the colour pigments from the initial thread manufacture. This process reduces this backpack’s CO2 emissions by 35% compared to the previous model.
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Put heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Store your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if there isn't room inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place small items for daily use (sun cream, map, glasses etc.) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers want them to be brightly coloured?
The grey colour is neutral so uses less dye. We also use a “bi-ton” dyeing process where only one thread in every two is dyed. This dyed yarn is also made from a bulk dyeing process which incorporates the colour pigments from the yarn manufacturing phase onwards. Forclaz is committed to improving the environmental impact of its products through these actions.
