Excellent choice for me.Thank you
Great bike and very helpful staff
I'm very pleased with my bike. I hadn't really riden a bike since I was a kid, I first purchased a bike from another very well know bike stockists. But had nothing but trouble from mud guards scraping on the wheels, then brakes jamming, I took it back and got my money back and was nearly put off cycling. But then I thought I'd try decathlon and the staff were great, friendly, knew their stuff. They did a full check on the bike, in front of me when I went to collect it. The lovely young man answered all my questions and was very helpful and knowledgeable... couldn't be happier with my purchase and have been enjoying cycling ever since
My son is coming 10 and we needed a bigger bike for him. We spend our lives between UK and NL. In the UK whilst learning to ride, he had a 20" bike. In NL over the summer, he was on a 26" bike. We went out on the search for a 26" and found it very limited across my area. We spotted this (Small frame, 28" bike) and let him have a whirl around the store to see if he could handle it. He could. So now my almost 10 year old is on an adult bike! This bike is a great starter bike. My own bike is from Decathlon as well. The only downside is the fact you need to purchase a stand and mudguards seperately, so it soon adds up for a 10 year old, but at least this bike should do him for a few years. The gears are simple to use, but took a min to figure them out after being so used to a handle twist to make gears change. This is just a push of a thumb
This bike is light..a pleasure to ride!!
Can’t fault anything with this bike . In terms of value for your money this is impossible to beat for a first time leisure/commuter bike.
Had bike for one month. Would highly recommend for town riding. I did change saddle to Decathlon 100 City Saddle from Decathlon - my fundament felt a bit numb after riding more than 5k but the revised saddle supports longer rides. Tiny bit of slip around gears 6-8 but this is likely to be needing in and will go to Decathlon for adjustment. One weird detail: I found the front brake binding when steering and I think the cable had been routed incorrectly - I rerouted it so it matched the online photos and problem resolved. I think the bike is excellent value for money for around town.
Great bike but not very good customer service for such a big company. Got charged twice for the bike
the bike is beautifully balanced, everything works well, and the gears change smoothly and accurately, even with one chainring i'm 189cm, but with long legs even for my height, the bike is slightly to small, so the 190cm large size really is at the limit for tall blokes the one obvious drawback for me was the fixed saddle, it seems slightly tilted forward so pushes your weight on to your arms more than it should
Very pleased with the new bicycle. It gives a smooth, easy ride. Light enough to load in the car but feels substantial once on the road.
I bought this bike in December of 2020, and already by June the following year i’ve had to change the break pads twice, repair punctures twice, fix the gears and the whole bike just collapsed. Every time i’ve taken this back to decathlon to get it repaired, and so far i’ve spent more on repairs than i have done on the actual bike! Awful bike, dont not buy even at a last resort
Excellent bike so nice to ride, gears are a breeze all the adjustments were made before I left the store so it's perfect for my comfort definitely recommend to other people
