Great product for what I wanted as my feet hurt in the aqua aerobics pool on ridges but these protect my feet well.
They do come up a bit big so got a smaller size for summer to wear on bare feet and my normal size to wear with neoprene socks. I just wish the sole was more substantial as they provide very little protection from stones and rocks. However, they do provide some protection especially when swimming on a sandy beach
Lightweight, easy to get on and off, protect my feet from a very pebbly beach.
Perfect shoes for stoney beaches and also for water sports.
As a regular sea swimmer, on the south coast with pebbly beaches, I needed a decent shoe. I found these at Decathalon, they’re sturdy but light, and a good colour as in colourless tops, as I’m not keen on the bright colours you often find in These type of shoes. I found they stopped bruising on the soles of my feet that other shoes often left because of the pebbles. I’ll definitely be getting some more

Certainly help with grip on the pool floor when doing energetic aqua fit classes, much better than socks. Easy to rinse and dry for the next session.
These aqua shoes give a good grip on the pool floor. They add resistance for a better workout. My only disappointment is that I am at risk of slipping when entering and leaving the pool as they do not give a good grip on the pool ladder.
Bought these to replace 2 pairs of hot tunas and these are far better. Being all rubber there are no uncomfortable moving insoles inside them, they grip the pool floor and general floor areas out of the pool so no fear of slipping, and they dry really quickly as they drain when you remove them. Really comfortable too. Excellent quality and are perfect for aqua aerobics or aqua rehabilitation exercises

Use these shoes,when kayaking,easy to clean and strong,went for size smaller then i normally do,for summer time,this ideal if foot gets stuck in river mud and does not get pulled off your feet.I will get next size up for winter,so can wear a neoprene sock,for extra warmth.

These are a good idea but they are very narrow and there are no width choices. Need a shoe horn to get on. They do help with slipping during aqua exercises. They drain well which is important. Are flexible in the water for movement.

Why use shoes?
Whatever the activity, the majority of exercises are performed with the feet in contact with the ground, which is sometimes abrasive, or with a surface to which you will apply your foot (step aerobics, cycling, trampolining, etc.).Using shoes helps to reduce friction between the foot and these elements.
For aquabiking
Wearing shoes is recommended for Aquabiking to prevent injury on the pedals of the bike (unless these pedals are designed to be used barefoot). When Aquabiking, you often move from a seated to a standing position, putting a lot of weight on your foot on the pedal. These shoes will cushion your foot as you press down on the bike pedal.
Why do aquafitness or aqua aerobics?
Once immersed in the water, the body becomes lighter and all movements become easier, even though the water creates more resistance than air and makes muscles work harder. Aquafit is an activity consisting of a variety of water-based workshops to maximise the effectiveness of your session in the water and target different areas of your body, while enjoying the benefits of the water. The session can combine several aquafitness exercises such as aquabiking, aquajump and aquabody (high-intensity aquafitness that often uses a water resistance accessory such as: weights, dumbbells, resistance bands, etc.).
