Design
Our design teams developed these cropped bottoms by carefully observing goalkeepers out on the pitch during matches and training.We've added protection areas equipped with foam at the hips and knees to limit the impact with the ground when diving.These protection areas are reinforced with a coated fabric insert that limits abrasion when coming into contact with the ground.

The previous Kipsta goalkeeper trousers & 3/4 length shorts were excellent products - thick foam on knees and hips that protected my 7 (now 8yr old) budding goalkeeper. As my son sometimes trains on 3G pitches & hard ground in the summer unfortunately his last pair split so his Mum purchased a new pair and oh my was I disappointed!!! The placement & size of the pads are just awful.... they may be anatomically correct but there is a HUGE flaw in that approach to the design.... the fact that those that are using these are not pros with great technique who will land in the perfect place every time!!!! The padded area needs to be at LEAST twice the size if not THREE times the size to accommodate the learner ‘keeper and keep them injury free.... I would like to say though that the new high density foam is very good and I would say better than the previous model (great shock absorption & harder wearing) it is just a shame there is not enough of it!!! I would like to add that I am a former Semi pro goalkeeper and FA qualified coach so have some experience in regards to training/match equipment...
