fantastic

quite comfortable actually. good price.

Impossible bed

It says you need a strong arm. That's a joke, you probably need 3 or 4 to put the legs on

Nightmare

Nightmare putting it together even worse taking it apart it's just to tight I've had to get help putting it together cant get it apart going camping tomorrow with no bed not a happy customer or camper camper

Good for price

We brought two of these to take camping..however we had one rogue pole that was half an inch than the others which meant we could not fit it into the fabric..we took it back to the store who swapped it for us no problems...check your poles b4 u go camping just in case. Also make sure you take a strong man camping ...the legs are very stiff to get in !!!

Impossible to set up

How anyone can assemble this product I will never know hurt my wrist trying. Very disappointed as needed urgently for a camping trip. The video makes it look so easy

Sleep tight...

Bit stiff to put together the first few times, but after that it slots together easily. Simple to clean, and so comfortable to sleep on...

Wear grippy gloves!!!!!

Just bought this and decided to put it up in the garden with my 12 year old daughter. You have to put the turquoise side if the kegs parallel to the long tubes and then swing them around. The fun comes when applying downward pressure so the other clips just, well ‘clip’ in to the other side. You need a lot of downward pressure, which is where I decided to put some grippy gardening gloves on to help grip onto the long tube as you try and press it down and under. I’ll certainly remember to take these with me when I go camping with the kids. I’m sure it will get easier as the bed is used more often.

Awful to put up

I'm sure this bed is very comfortable, it certainly felt it in the shop. But it is absolutely awful to put up, you need the strength of a lion! I finally got the legs on but certainly can't stretch the canvas top over the ends of the poles. Will have to drive back the 25 miles to return this item.

Camp bed

Having read these reviews we thought it best to go to the store and have a look. It's no way near as hard to build and dismantle as suggested.. Just follow the instructions on the label

Camp bed - ideal for children

I brought two of these beds for my children. The are sturdy and comfortable and with a self inflating airbed on top my kids slept well. The only bad point I found was putting the beds together and taking them apart. The two poles side in and you have to stretch the material over the ends. I found this particular difficult as there is only a small red tab to hold as to try to put the material over the end of the pole. Because of the tension required to make the bed sturdy I also found it difficult to dismantle them and had to resort to hitting the clips with my mallet to release them. It does say on the bag that some strength is required to build the bed and it takes slightly longer than 5 minutes to build. But apart from that, its not a bad product.

no

Not used the camp bed yet but put it up and laid on it seemed comfy.

We bought the camp bed for the price and quality. We've used before and they're easy to put up and take down.

Practice makes perfect

Took me 15 minutes to put up for the first time (50yr old fittish woman). The long poles are easy enough to thread through the canvas. The legs were stiff but by leaning on the leg it bends and did eventually clip into place. Dismantling is much easier. Lie on its back with its legs in the air, stand astride the bed with one leg on each pole to weight it down and then pull the grey end of the leg up. Dismantling took me 2 minutes. They are comfortable and I'm pleased with my purchase. Definitely try before any camping trip!
