Great for family or just by yourself

Really impressed with this tent. Have used it multiple times in very different locations and weather's and always stayed dry and comfy. Family of 4 lived in it for a two week holiday, changing locations a few times, with no issues at all. I've also used it when it's just me and only put one bedroom up as I like being able to stand to get dressed and roo. For a chair and table etc. If it rains. Easy to put up, easy to take down. Really impressive, especially for the price.

GOOD TENT...would be better if...

This is a good 4 man tent with some nice little touches (pockets and hooks). I like the 2 bedroom feature as most 4 berth tents only come with 1 room. Nice and sturdy. Good price. Decathlon could improve this tent by: Adding zipped netted doors at the entrance and bedroom doors to prevent small insects from getting in. Having larger windows or an added window on the opposite side to the entrance to let in more light and loads of visibility An attached bathtub groundsheet instead of it being separate making pitching time even shorter. Electric hook-up access. All in all though, a decent tent that doesn't break the bank.

Fantastic family tent

We have had this for a couple of years now and have been very happy with it each time we’ve used it. What makes me write a review now is that we were in it in really heavy rain in scotland last night and we stayed totally dry and the tent felt very solid. Easy to put up and down too but best with 2 people.

Great tent

Easy to erect

Nice, easy & decent price

I’ve used this tent 5 times so far. It’s easy enough to put up, even by myself. Ive used it in heavy, relentless rain with zero issues. Not used in bad wind yet. The only annoying thing is that unless it’s pitched on absolutely flat ground, it’s hard to get the middle section ground sheet to Velcro onto the bedrooms properly, so I’ve left it just unattached mostly. It’s good to use with only 1 bedroom up and the rest of the space to sit in. Got 8 people on chairs inside when it rained one night with only 1 bedroom up. Bought some cheap porch poles as there’s eyelets on the doors so that’s a good feature. Goes back in the bag too. Overall, I’ve had some expensive tents in my time, so this one is great for the price.

Poor quality

Very awkward to put up. Poles broke when dismantling after the first use. Tried to return and was met with appalling customer service, could only return if we had paid with a decathlon card- no one told us this when we bought it. You are also not able to put the tent back in the bag when you are finished with it as the bag is way too small. Even the manager at decathlon couldn’t fit it back after telling us we can’t return. Would not recommend at all.

Camping Tent for 4 people

Good quality tent, easy to assemble, plenty space for 4 people. Easy to carry around, as it comes in a handy bag, all around I would recommend this tent.

Not the best

Looks ok but when you put it up it’s badly put together as the outer don’t sit right and gaps everywhere

Excellent, brilliant

Good for big family, I'm use for 6 people 3 teenagers 2 adults an 1 baby. Excellent!!!!

Brilliant value

We used it for the first time for 3 nights away for our family of 4. - The tent survived 40mph winds and rain in storm Francis. - Plenty of space to stand up in; - lots of useful pockets and hooks for lights etc; - takes up little space in the car; - we used an extra groundsheet which made it a bit less wet underneath to put away

Amazing tent

Just back from a few days camping in Storm Ellen. This tent was amazing. It survived the torrential rain and very high winds. No leaks and didn't move at all. I was so impressed. It's also really easy to put up and the design is great with bedroom pods at each end.

Not waterproof

I bought this tent just over a year ago and this is the third time I've used it, and the first time during rain. It claims to be significantly waterproof but there's water coming through both ends over the sleeping areas. The whole area of each section is very wet, and I think we'll be wet inside before the day ends. Not a pleasant experience!

Lots of space

Great tent. We wish that there had been a mosquito net at the front and also, that the ground at the back would be able to be lifted higher (or maybe there is something missing on our tent?). Apart from that, it kept us safe during a rainy time.

Our commitment to consume less water with this product

We have improved this product with an eco-design approach to the product materials. Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. We use this process for the tent with the following colour (ref: 8562098)

Living room and bedroom

3.5 sqm living area with a height of 1.90 m.This tent is fitted with a basin groundsheet at the entrance which can be folded up in the event of rainy conditions and 8 pockets in the living room (2 pockets on the outside of each bedroom too). The 2 bedrooms in this tent are intended to accommodate a maximum of two 70 cm wide mattresses.

Pitching and dismantling

There are four poles to insert into their corresponding sleeves. There are colour codes to help you.We recommend that 2 people pitch the tent.

Sun protection

The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.Caution: be careful, as a large amount of UV rays can get in through a simple open door.

The ventilated flysheet on the living area airs the room and reduces condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also provided at the front and back of the tent, along with high mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 6, measured at 50 km/h.

We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website.

Poles and tent pegs

Poles - All our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.

Maintenance advice

Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your tent, it's important to store it when not in use.
