Frame material: polyamide. Nose pads material: impact resistant polycarbonate. Arms material: polyamide + rubber. Arm tips material: impact resistant polycarbonate. Size: suitable for all types of faces (narrow to large).
Lenses
Category 1 to 3 photochromic lenses: filters 15% to 55% of light at 23°C. In cold weather (under 10°C) the variation in the tint is greatly diminished. Standard: ISO 12312-1. Full UV protection filter Material: impact resistant polycarbonate. Full coverage for optimum protection from the elements (mud, dust, insects, etc.).
Photochromatic technology
Photochromic lenses automatically adjust to light intensity. Lenses darken in approximately 30 seconds (takes 45 seconds to lighten). The perceived brightness does not change much even when the outside brightness level changes. For example, when cycling, the change in tint is almost imperceptible. The tint adjusts gradually, and the eye adjusts to it. A cold temperature will activate (tint) the glass more easily and the tint transitions will be longer.

These are exactly similar to the brighter sister glasses in the range but these are great sunglasses & photochromic glasses in this case. A deep lens covers my eyes fine and these have a grey tint/outlook prior to darkening when they'll change to total red exterior..so they're good for changeable summer conditions imo..I've always found a grey lens takes away the reds in the spectrum from the sun and cools me slightly..tho they fall in total bright sun they'll defend you against uva's and your eyes don't tire, so you get good protection 👍
For years I searched for good sunglasses for general use & photochromic glasses in this case can't & fitted the bill fine, a deep lens covers my eyes fine and these have a slight amber/yellow outlook prior to darkening when they'll change to total silver/mirror exterior..so they're good for changeable winter/autumnal conditions imo, I lost a pair on holiday Inn Scotland so I replaced them - they're well worth it!
