Why choose a special shoe for urban walking?
In walking there is complete heel-to-toe transition, from the moment the heel hits the ground to the propulsion of the front of the foot. During this phase the foot is extremely arched. Walking shoes must be extremely flexible to conform perfectly with this movement.

About the only thing wrong with this shoe is that the sole has worn through in about 12 months use. The rest of the shoe has another year or two life left in it. I'd recommend the manufacturer uses more dense material for the sole.
This is the second pair bought as the first were so good, extremely comfortable and easy to wear.
Really comfortable shoes at an amazing price and ordered online they arrive quickly. My 6th and 7th pair. Bought the first pair last September and haven’t looked back. About to test them in a 100mile racewalk.
