No end of problems with this bike

breaks are horrible and groupset has not worked from day one (skips gears, not indexing problem and chain slip). After countless hours of trying to fix it and taking it into Decathlon, turns out it was just broken but by this time was out of warranty. Was told 'we can't help you and don't know why it is not working'. This bike has changed my opnion of Decathlon and would advice everyone to avoid the bike and company.

1st step into road cycling and loving it.

Bought this on recommendation from cyclist friends. It's my 1st road bike and very happy with it. Had a couple of issues under warranty but has been repaired with no argument and perfect when done. Coming up to my 3 month check over and service so will see how it is after this but would definitely recommend. My only criticism would be that It only has 1 bottle holder but i will be also carrying a camelbak on longer rides. Can also recommend cycle department and mechanics at the Sheffield store I use

Not recommended

I bought the bike in Dec and picked it up in Jan. Since then I have had recurrent issues with it. I took it for its three month service in March. I have just taken it for another service today (June) and have been told that the chain is completely worn and has worn down the other parts. It will cost at least £200.00 to replace. I have had the bike only 6 months and ridden it sporadically as I own two more bikes have had recurrent issues with this bike. I have cleaned and re-olied it regularly. I have ridden it on approximately 3 20 mile rides and two and form work sporadically during the 6 months I have had it.
