- Close all the zips of the jacket- Turn it inside out- Machine wash at 30°, on a delicate cycle with a small amount of washing powder and without fabric softener.IMPORTANT: select a very gentle spin programme (< 800 rotations/minute): a too fast programme runs the risk of creating clumps of feathers that are difficult to separate- Add 2/3 clean tennis balls into the drum of the washing machine.- Run a 2nd or 3rd rinse cycle to properly eliminate any powder left from the previous wash

In the tumble dryer (strongly recommended)- Gentle or delicate programme.- Run several long cycles to completely dry it.- Between 2 cycles, pat the down jacket in order to separate the clumps of feathers that formed when it was washed.If you don’t have a tumble dryer, the process will take longer. (it can take 1-2 weeks in a dry, flat place for the jacket to dry). Make sure to pat the jacket to avoid clumps of feathers (at least 4/5 times)

Fill power measures the thermal insulation of the down by its ability to "trap" a given volume of air. As such, the greater the loft of the down (the higher the CUIN value), the more space it takes up, the more air it traps and therefore the more insulating it is.
