Level of protection

This wide, shock-resistant mudguard kit stops mud getting sprayed onto the rider's lower back, chest and face. For best results, position the rear mudguard blade as close as possible (2 to 3 cm) to the wheel. You can't completely avoid muddy splatters when it's damp...But for getting from A to B, we recommend using a hybrid bike mudguard kit (with longer blades that are closer to the wheels), if compatible with your bike frame and tyre width.

Bike compatibility

This kit is suitable for 26" to 29" mountain bikes, with a tyre width up to 2.8" in 27.5" and 2.6" in 29", equipped with a telescopic fork.To ensure a good fit at the front, the internal diameter of the steerer tube must be between 18 and 34 mm.If the front blade interferes with the underside of the frame (for example in small sizes), it is possible to move the blade forward. To ensure a good fit at the rear, the diameter of the seat post must be between 25.4 and 34.9 mm.

Box contents

The front mudguard comes fully assembled and ready to be mounted, with a 23 mm medium expansion socket. To make this product compatible with as many different telescopic forks as possible, there are 2 additional expansion sockets included in this kit: 1 smaller, 18 mm one and 1 bigger, 33 mm one.The rear mudguard comes fully assembled and ready to be mounted, no matter the diameter of your seat post.

A modern, efficient design

With dimensions that fit all the new wheel and tyre sizes on the market, and with a bold design, our mudguard kit gives your bike a modern, dynamic look.Everything has been designed to give you the best experience:- A reliable screw-on bracket that holds the mudguards in the same position each time- An easy system to clip the blades onto and take them off your bike depending on the weather- Compatibility with accessories (camera, lights)

Responsibly designed

We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of our new product, so we've paid special attention to the choice of materials for the bulkiest parts.the blades (front and rear) as well as the "fuse" arm (rear) are made of 100% recycled PP (polypropylene).

Compatible accessories

In dry weather, when there's no rain and mud about, you can unclip the blade from the rear bracket and clip a sports camera on instead. The camera must be compatible with the GoPro bracket system. To keep you safe when riding early in the morning or late at night, there's a rail at the end of the rear blade that you can clip a rear, red light to: CL 100, CL 500, CL 900, ST 500 or RL 510 LED.

Bad design for trails - left me painfully bruised

The front mud guard is perfect. It has an easy to install mechanism that is inserted into the fork tube hole, then a bolt is tightened to expand a rubber grommet, to keep the clip in place. The front guard can then easily click on and off. The rear guard is not so great. The clamp design is far too bulky and as a result, on the more technical trails, I found that my inner thighs kept getting bashed against it, and this has left me very painfully bruised. Its not a forgiving shape, and sits far prouder than my seat so ends up being quite a terrible design. I can see that on their French site they advise running the mudguard bracket lower down the seat post to avoid this, but this is not shown on the English site. I did prefer the SKS design, as this used a slimmer strap and clamp system, which I think looked more streamline. Perhaps I need to consider a completely different rear mudguard for trails as I am looking at a dropper post, and I can't see this working for that.

Front is issue

Rear fits ok to my rockrider st540 but front the size just doesn't match the tube insert do I had to file down the rubber fitting with Stanley knife

Ok

They are ok but not great plastic. Too flexible
